What are skin booster injections?
Skin booster injections are soft dermal fillers that are designed to add hydration to the skin giving a softer, plumper and more even skin texture.
How does it work?
Skin boosters are evenly injected across the treatment area in tiny droplets for an overall rejuvenation effect. The product is softer than standard dermal filler allowing for more even distribution.
How many treatments?
We recommend 3 treatments. Once a month for three months.
The treatment
A consultation is required with one of our registered nurses and cosmetic physicians before all injectable procedures where the patient’s concerns and goals are discussed.
The injections feel like a slight pinch and a small amount of pressure. You may have some tenderness and bruising for a few days post treatment.
Aftercare
- Avoid heat-inducing activities for 24-48 hours.
- Consumption of alcohol should be avoided pre and post-treatment.
- Blood thinning medication and supplements should be avoided 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- Makeup should be avoided post-treatment for 24 hours.
