Vascular Laser

What is Vascular Laser?

Vascular Laser treatment is designed to target and destroy visible and unsightly veins and capillaries, and other red blemishes on the skin.

How does it work?

The vascular laser will only target the red pigment (haemoglobin) in veins and capillaries whilst not affecting the surrounding skin. These abnormal veins are destroyed by coagulating the blood within them, leaving behind improved skin tone.

The treatment

A consultation is required with one of our registered nurses or dermal therapists to discuss the patient’s concerns and goals.

The laser will target unwanted veins and capillaries and destroy them immediately and or gradually fade over the next 2 to 4 weeks.

How many treatments?

1-3 treatments every 2-4 weeks.

Similar treatments to to a Vascular Laser Nd: YAG laser treatment:

1. IPL Skin Rejuvenation or BBL Skin Rejuvenation: This helps improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance overall skin tone and elasticity.
2. Tattoo Removal: Q-switched lasers are also commonly used for tattoo removal. The high-intensity light pulses shatter the tattoo ink particles, allowing the body’s natural processes to eliminate them gradually.
3. Laser Genesis Facial is a popular treatment that uses advanced laser technology to rejuvenate, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin texture and tone.
4. Green Genesis is a similar treatment that targets pigmentation issues and redness, leaving you with a brighter and more even complexion. It is safe, effective, and requires no downtime, making this the ideal choice for anyone looking to improve their skin’s overall health and appearance.

It’s essential to consult with a Dermal Therapist or Cosmetic Nurse to determine which treatment is best suited for your specific skin type and concerns. They can assess your skin condition and recommend the most appropriate option.
