Non-surgical fat reduction injections are used to help remove and dissolve fat using a series of non-invasive injections. They can help reduce the appearance of fat under the chin, bra bulge or back fat.

This procedure is particularly effective underneath the chin resulting in a more defined and contoured jawline.

How do they work?

The fat-dissolving solution is injected into the area of concern and reduces the fat cells. The results are seen after 6-8 weeks as the body processes and eliminates the damaged fat cells.

The treatment

A consultation is required with one of our registered nurses and cosmetic physicians before all injectable procedures where the patient’s concerns and goals are discussed.

Patients will have swelling post-treatment.

Patients will notice a difference after 4 weeks and see the full effect of the treatment after 6-8 weeks.

How many treatments

Non-surgical fat reduction injections for improvement under the chin and back area is most effective after 1-3 treatments.

Most patients will notice a 30%-40% reduction in fatty tissue after the first treatment.

Aftercare

• Avoid heat-inducing activities for 24-48 hours.
• Consumption of alcohol should be avoided pre and post-treatment.
• Blood thinning medication and supplements should be avoided 2 weeks prior to treatment.
• Makeup should be avoided post-treatment for 24 hours.
