MINT Thread Lift
How does it work?
Mint thread lifts insert fine, absorbable hair-like threads made of polydioxanone (PDO) into the skin using a small needle or cannula. Once the threads are inserted, they lift and tighten the skin by regenerating the skin tissue.
As the ageing process slows down, causing the skin becomes thinner, looser, and more prone to wrinkles and sagging.
The body absorbs the threads used in MINT thread lifts over time, but the treatment’s effects can last up to 18 months.
MINT thread lifts can be used to lift and tighten various areas of the face and neck, including the cheeks, jawline, neck, and eyebrows. The treatment is minimally invasive and requires no general anaesthesia or extensive downtime. Most patients can resume normal activities immediately after the treatment, although some may experience mild swelling, bruising, or discomfort for a few days after the procedure. We offer complimentary LED Light Therapy sessions to speed up the healing and bruising post-treatment.

The treatment
A consultation is required with one of our registered nurses and cosmetic physicians before all thread lift procedures, where the patient’s concerns and goals are discussed. The treatment is then performed over 45-60 minutes, and the patient is relaxed. We apply a tape dressing over the area to help support the lifting threads. The treatment has minimal downtime, but mild bruising and swelling can occur.
Three Complimentary LED Light Therapy treatments are included with every MINT Thread Lift to help speed up healing. All LED Light Therapy treatments include a double cleanse, hyaluronic hydrating serum, eye cream and moisturiser + SPF.
Aftercare
- Avoid exercise for one week.
- Makeup should be avoided post-treatment for three days.
- Consumption of alcohol should be avoided pre and post-treatment.
- Blood thinning medication and supplements should be avoided two weeks prior to treatment.
